Sampling Services
Industrial facilities can benefit from EMT’s expertise in sampling water, soil, product, and waste streams.
EMT’s field technicians are 40-hour, trained under OSHA standards. We own and operate an extensive inventory of automatic samplers, electronic flow meters (ultrasonic, bubbler, etc.), confined space entry safety equipment, and primary flow measurement devices (weirs and flumes).
We provide full-service, “turnkey” wastewater field sampling and flow measurement at industrial sites and can operate in conjunction with Consulting & Engineering firms to supplement their field capabilities.
Wastewater Sampling
EMT has an extensive inventory of equipment to meet our customers needs for a wide variety of waste stream applications.
We perform sampling and flow
measurement for companies whose wastewater discharge is regulated by the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRDGC) or other local POTWs.
EMT has two decades of experience in providing a full range of testing services to industry. We are fully knowledgeable about the rules and procedures of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District, and we perform all field and laboratory work in accordance with current MWRD rules and regulations to ensure defensible data for our clients.
A change in a company’s processes or product lines can greatly impact the facility’s wastewater composition. Timely and regular testing is the best way to discover the impact of such changes and to mitigate the effects on a company’s User fees.
