Field Services

EMT Field Services division provides expert monitoring and sample collection to support our clients in achieving their environmental program and project specific goals.  EMT field services personnel are experts in sampling and data collection.  EMT technicians are highly trained and skilled in sampling of environmental matrix protocols, including wastewater, groundwater, soils, solid waste, stormwater, landfill gases, hazardous wastes, and leachate.  Whether basic grab sampling or complex stormwater sampling installations, EMT will design a sampling and monitoring program to meet your needs.  EMT provides sampling and monitoring for a variety of national and global clientele, including industrial facilities, municipalities, construction companies, landfill and solid waste facilities, and in support of the consulting and engineering community.  Providing field services for over 26 years, EMT has developed an expertise in applying current sampling methodologies and technologies to provide solutions to even the most complex environmental monitoring projects.

EMT is the expert for environmental field services. EMT's Director of Groundwater & Field Services, Justin Brown, is currently serving on the NELAC Institute - Field Activities Expert Committee. Mr. Brown is involved in writing and developing a national standard for quality in field measurement and has been elected to serve on the National Environmental Field Activities Program (NEFAP) executive committee This NEFAP committee directs the program that accredits field sampling and measurement organizations.  EMT has also presented on sample quality, on the national level, at programs run by the Department of Defense (DoD) and the National Groundwater Association, as well as many regional and local conferences.  EMT has been asked to be the contributing expert in field sampling and measurement at a series of NELAC sponsored training courses that will be given throughout the United States.

EMT is currently working to become one of the first field sampling companies to obtain a national accreditation.  Our commitment to providing quality data makes EMT the industry leader in sample collection.
