entered the environmental services industry in suburban Chicago in 1984, and has served industrial, consulting, engineering and private clients’ environmental testing needs continuously for over 20 years.

EMT is accredited in accordance with the standards and requirements of the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP). Our NELAP accreditation includes a comprehensive list of test methods for analyzing wastewater, hazardous waste and drinking water samples. EMT is also accredited by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) for an extensive list of test parameters.

EMT’s field services, fast turnaround, comprehensive laboratory capabilities and excellent customer service give us an edge in the environmental monitoring industry.

Laboratory Staff

EMT’s technical laboratory staff provides a valuable resource for the projects we manage. EMT employs laboratory technicians, the majority of

whom possess four-year college degrees in a scientific discipline, with prior work experience in either research or environmental laboratory analysis. A number of EMT’s laboratory staff hold M.S. and Ph.D. degrees. While technicians are trained to run particular test methods to develop expertise and provide consistency, a number of our technicians are cross-trained in a variety of test methods to provide additional staffing resources when this is required.
